Tomorrow go try and find another sea, how is the sea foam formed in that sea?
A storm day wind blows and reminds me of the sea that I have once before sailed with my father. An autumn light and the boats swaying on shiny waves.
Freeze that moment and turn it into eternity.
As the days go by, I carefully observe the "present moment", the small gestures of things, how the sun touches these things, the design of the shapes, the shadows. The skin and the texture of a body, a stone, wood, water, tell a story, the slow passing of time in a cycle which tomorrow will repeat, but that is never the same. Intimate people and personal landscapes seem to become eternal, as if they were from another time.
Time is what we want things to be.
Watch how the shapes keep being repeated in nature and how man identifies them in its own body, in the things he creates, and how we can constantly transform ourselves, deep inside we're all the same.
I collect meaningful things, intimate moments, I collect what is not mine but means something for me, with these fragments I build a reality, my own.
Watch how beautiful the foam is.
"Time is not a measure. One year doesn't count, ten years do not represent anything. To be an artist doesn't mean to count, it's much like the tree that grows with no rush and by this resists, peaceful, to the strong winds of spring, with no fear that the summer may not come. The summer will come. But it only comes to those who know how to wait for it, so quietly, as if they were facing eternity in front of them.
