Gala XXV Edições Encontros da Imagem
The Gala for the award presentation happening in Theatro de Circo is composed of an exclusively visual show and an improvised concert in which the winner and the finalist projects for the Great Photography Award EI AWARD will be announced. The Gala is marked by the presence of Cyril M. and Alyssa Moxley, who will set the tone to the project Temps Zero, an audio experience based in video projections, which allows a journey over the universe of authors such as:
MICHAEL ACKERMAN ((US) + JACOB AUE SOBOL (DK)+ FREDERICO AZEVEDO (POR) + ROGER BALLEN (ZA) + GAEL BONNEFON (FR) + LORENZO CASTORE (ITA) + STÉPHANE CHARPENTIER (FR) + ADAM COHEN GROSSMAN(US) + DAMIEN DAUFRESNE (FR) + GABRIELLE DUPLANTIER (FR) + ILIAS GEORGIADIS (GRE) + DOLORES MARAT (FR) + LORENA MORIN (ESP) + ALISA RESNIK (RU/DE) + GILLES ROUDIERE (FR) + YUSUF SEVINCLI (TUR) + ESTER VONPLON (CH)
Temps Zero is a show based in projections and improvised concerts. It is an invitation to a pictorial and musical journey. The artists’ selection represents a profoundly compromised vision of the world and presents a collection of images and sounds, in a special synergy, creating a musical experience, almost cinematographic.

In the Gala there will also be a concert given by the band EVOLS:
Influenced by rock, blues and the psychedelic culture that has been reinvented in the last 50 years, Evols have constructed one of the most beautiful guitar walls of our days, and at the same time created one of the most beautiful stories of independence in Portugal. The band as a reputation for being the enfants terribles of distortion, their sound is a real avalanche. In September they will launch their second album, trough the Wasser Bassin publisher.
